Lawrence J. Benton is a partner in the law firm of Edwards & Benton, PLC, located in Bingham Farms, Michigan. Mr. Benton's practice concentrates in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, probates, business planning and corporate law, in addition to representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service.

Mr. Benton received a Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction from the University of Michigan in 1978, a Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University Law School in 1982 and a Master of Laws in Taxation from the Boston University School of Law in 1985.

Mr. Benton is a member of the Probate and Estate Planning and Taxation Sections of the State Bar of Michigan and has lectured extensively on the topic of estate planning before various professionals and private groups.
