Alan G. Edwards graduated from Detroit College of Law, cum laude, in June 1983 and passed the Michigan State Bar in 1983. After graduating law school, Mr. Edwards did criminal trial work for approximately one year. He was then employed by the law firm of Harvey, Kruse, Western and Milan, P.C.

While Mr. Edwards was at Harvey, Kruse, Western and Milan, P.C., he was involved in insurance defense litigation, self-insured product liability defense, business and commercial litigation, and insurance coverage issues/matters. In 1990, he worked with a law firm in Cadillac, Michigan, mainly involved in Plaintiff's litigation and then worked with a firm in Macomb County, Michigan doing business and commercial litigation, as well as some environmental and real estate work. In 1995, Mr. Edwards began his own practice, A.G. Edwards and Associates, P.C. In 2001, A.G. Edwards & Associates, P.C., grew into Edwards & Benton, PLC.

Currently Mr. Edwards represents a wide variety of clients, which include small, medium and large businesses and their owners, construction contractors, hospitals, physicians, manufacturing companies, insurance companies, as well as individuals, for a wide variety of issues, including all types of business issues as well as commercial litigation.
